Lately, I’ve been taking my toddler to the playground in the afternoons at the end of our road and we always walk past a fenceline with a row of large overgrown lavender bushes, sprawling out over the pavement. There’s always a hive of activity and my son just loves watching with sheer curiosity at the plethora of bumblebees frantically collecting pollen. So I felt it very timely that Tilda’s latest fabric collection, the Bumblebee collection arrived this week. This is simply a beautiful collection, the fabric is soft, 100% cotton and comes in four main colour palettes, blue, green, ginger and pink. As well as choosing individual fabrics of choice from the Bumblebee collection, we also sell fat quarter bundles containing five pieces as well as a 20 piece fat quarter bundle (which includes fabric from the whole collection), take a look at the collection following the link below….
For that budding engineer and/or aircraft and car enthusiast, Country Home and Crafts has the perfect fabric for curtains, cushions, a quilt, lampshade and bunting for a bedroom or study area. I just love the vintage look of this Robert Kaufman fabric with the aircraft and motorcar technical blueprints, which comes in Charcoal, Indigo and Blue.
And while we’re on the aircraft topic, we have the following Theory of Aviation collection from Windham Prints which would tie in nicely with the blueprints if you wanted to mix and match.
Before I leave you to browse through the gorgeous fabrics I’ve been talking about, I also wanted to mention that I added a new 'Product Type' category to my website called ‘Pre-cut Fabrics’ which includes a variety of fat quarter bundles. What’s even better, is that there’s a discounted rate to buying a bundle so please have a look and see if there’s anything that takes your fancy.
My vision for my blog page is to showcase various products I’m selling on www.countryhomeandcrafts.co.nz and sharing with you ideas to inspire you to create and may be even provide inspiration to try making something you haven’t done before. I want this to be an open forum for you to share your ideas too. And, most importantly, I want you to share photos of what you’ve made using Country Home and Crafts products. So please tell me your ideas and send me photos of what you’ve made!
