At Country Home and Crafts we sell a lovely range of charming fabrics, which all tell a story and I want to focus on these fabrics this week. Some fabrics have drawn inspiration from famous well-known stories directly, such as Penny Rose’s Anne of Green Gables collection. I felt a sense of nostalgia when I saw this fabric collection. It took me back to my early days at primary school when I remember reading the book and seeing the mini series on television. So I couldn’t resist sourcing this fabric for my store.
When I think of fabric that tells a story, I think of Dear Stella’s Foxtail Forest Treetop Party fabric, which is so cute with all the forest animals having a celebration.
Also included in the Foxtail Forest Treetop collection are the following fabrics, which complement the Treetop Party fabric perfectly.
The Lewis & Irene range of fabric are a brand that design fabrics that are all very unique and interesting and each have a story to tell. Enchanted Forest, Salisbury Spring and Grandma’s Garden all come to mind. The Enchanted Forest collection is magical and whimsical in nature with unicorns, fairies riding hares, tree houses, badgers, bunnies and bunny tunnels, owls and toadstool houses.
These fabrics would transform a child’s bedroom or playroom into a magical world that would let their imaginations flourish. These fabrics would look amazing using the following patterns sold at Country Home and Crafts, the Children’s Playhouse Teepee, the Pop of Colour pillows and cushions and Gum Drop Pillows.
New in this week, we have a collection by Riley Blake called Wonderland 2, the fabrics were inspired by Alice in Wonderland as you’ll see below. These fabrics are a little bit different to what we sell in that they have a touch of gold metallic detail through each fabric which really enlightens the fabric.
